 What a sad day. After hearing the news about Steve Jobs passing, I thought about all his wonderful inventions that have changed my life and allow me to create. Here's a painting I did this evening on my Ipad. A little somber in mood, but that was the type of day it was. Here is some fun still life artwork and even a portrait of my dog, Sara that I painted on my Ipad using the Art Studio app. This program works similar to Photoshop as it has many art tools and Layers (yes, layers!). It only allows for five layers maximum, so you have to be somewhat strategic in planning your painting. I find my self creating my background on the bottom layer and putting other elements on the middle layers and save the top layers for shadows and highlights. If you have an Ipad, I highly recommend trying this app for yourself.
